NOHAY CLASE ESTE DIA| Mayor Khymer Olaso has ordered the SUSPENSION OF CLASSES at all levels - both private and public schools in Zamboanga City, TODAY, WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2026.

However, business operations, government services, and work in both public and private sectors continue as usual today, Feb. 25, which is declared as a special working day under Proclamation 1006 in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Edsa People Power Revolution.

Meanwhile, THURSDAY, February 26, 2026 is a SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY in Zamboanga City, pursuant to Proclamation 1149, to allow Zamboanguenos to fittingly celebrate the 89th Dia de la Ciudad de Zamboanga.

According to PAGASA, parts of Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to TD VERBENA. Flash floods or landslides are possible due to moderate to heavy rains.
