The SCC School of Allied Medicine invites all faculty, staff, and students—old, new, and transferees to attend the General Orientation.

PUBLIC ADVISORY| Face-to-face classes at all levels - both public and private schools in the city are SUSPENDED on Monday, August 17, 2026, due to high heat index.

Based on the latest PAGASA bulletin, Zamboanga City’s heat index is forecast to reach 41 degrees Celsius on Monday, Aug. 17.

Nonetheless, work in government and private agencies, as well as business operations, continue as usual.

The public is advised to take extra precautions during periods of high heat index to prevent heat-related illnesses like cramps, exhaustion, and stroke. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, limit outdoor exposure between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, wear light clothing, and use sun protection.

- 🎤 Choral Auditions Open! We’re looking for voices to blend, hearts to harmonize. Come sing with us! ✨🎶

Qualifications
1. Must be bonafide student of the SCC and in good academic standing.
2. Must have a passion for singing and music.
3. Willing to learn new songs, vocal techniques, and proper choral singing.
4. Willing to attend regular rehearsals and practices.
5. Must be responsible and punctual during rehearsals, performances, and activities.
6. Has good discipline and positive attitude toward fellow choristers and the choir director.
7. Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
8. Committed to representing the school with proper behavior and professionalism.
9. Previous singing or choir experience is an advantage, but not required.
10. Must be physically and emotionally prepared to participate in rehearsals, performances, and competitions.

REQUIREMENTS FOR AUDITION
1. Secure an audition form at OSA
2. Sing a prepared song as your audition piece.
3. Audition will be on August 17-21, 2026 from 9:00am to 6:00Pm at OSA.
