The Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology proudly celebrates its 100% passing rate in the October 2025 Chemists (Computer-Based) and Chemical Technician Licensure Examination!
Our two newly Registered Chemical Technicians โ Ms. Rosalin P. Hapi and Ms. Elaine Christine F. Corteza โ have truly lived up to the Collegeโs reputation as a Center of Excellence, demonstrating competence, dedication, and passion for their field.
This remarkable milestone reflects the unwavering commitment of our faculty and the hard work, excellence, and determination of our graduates. It also shows the quality education and training that ZSCMST continues to uphold in producing globally competitive professionals.

A Technology Licensing Agreement was signed between Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) and Family Delicious Products Company for the innovative Squopia (squash-filled hopia) on September 29, 2025, at the Research Conference Room, ZSCMST.
College President, Dr. Roy L. Valesco, delivered his welcoming remarks, emphasizing the deeper value of the collaboration. โThis event is not just about formalizing a partnership. It is about recognizing creativity, celebrating collaboration, and embracing opportunities that take root to our college and flourish in a wider community,โ he said.
On the other hand, CEO of Family Delicious Products Company, Mr. Roland Louis Y. Go, delivered a message of acceptance, saying, โWe are honored to adopt the recipe and its ingredients. We hope to work in the future for this project.โ
This agreement manifests a strong industry-academe collaboration initiative of ZSCMST and its commitment to transform research outputs into sustainable and market-ready products.
