🛡️ SAFETY FIRST AT MAGSAYSAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 🛡️

At Magsaysay Elementary School, the safety and well-being of our learners and personnel have always been one of our top priorities.

Even before the recent incident in some parts of Luzon, our school had already implemented strict school safety policies and measures to ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone. These measures have become even more effective through the strong support and cooperation of our School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA), who generously provided metal detectors for the school.

This initiative reflects our collective commitment to preventing potential threats and ensuring that our school remains a safe space where every learner can learn, grow, and feel protected, and where every personnel can perform their duties with peace of mind.

We are grateful to our SPTA, school personnel, parents, and stakeholders for standing with us in making safety a shared responsibility. 🤝💙

AVISO PUBLICO| Classes at all levels, both public and private schools in the city, REMAIN SUSPENDED on Thursday, August 20, 2026, to give way for the conduct of campus-wide anti-dengue measures amid the dengue epidemic declaration in the city.

The suspension is also due to the high heat index which hits extreme caution level per latest PAGASA bulletin.

Nonetheless, government services and business operations continue as usual.

School authorities are advised to use other learning modalities to ensure continuous education despite class interruptions.

The public is continuously advised to practice safety measures amid the dangerously high heat index.

CLASSES RESUME TUESDAY, JUNE 9| Following the cancellation of the Tsunami Warning by DOST-Phivolcs, Mayor Khymer Olaso orders the RESUMPTION OF CLASSES at all levels (both public and private schools) including work in local and national agencies on TUESDAY, JUNE 9, 2026.

The DOST-PHIVOLCS has cancelled its tsunami warning for the offshore Saranggani earthquake in its Tsunami Information No. 2 issued 3:19pm June 8.

Mayor Olaso in his facebook post likewise advised residents who earlier evacuated due to tsunami threat to safely return to their homes. Nonetheless, he urged the public to remain vigilant and to heed official guidance as they resume normal lives.
