This milestone highlights a commitment to working together in advancing programs that benefit both institutions and the communities they serve. Through this partnership, knowledge, resources, and expertise will be combined to create more impactful initiatives.

The Leadership Lecture sponsored by Sibika Hub in partnership with Ateneo de Zamboanga University has been successfully concluded, featuring Mr. Arden H. Askali as the distinguished speaker.

Mr. Askali delivered a meaningful and insightful discussion on the principles and responsibilities of effective leadership, highlighting the importance of integrity, accountability, and service to the community. His lecture encouraged participants to reflect on the role of leadership in shaping institutions and fostering positive social change.

The event provided an enriching platform for learning and dialogue, allowing participants to gain valuable perspectives on leadership and civic engagement.

📚 Civic Education Lecture Successfully Concluded!

We are grateful for the successful conclusion of our Lecture on Civic Education, organized by Subika Hub in partnership with ICAS de Calarian.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Arayana F. Kunting for serving as our guest speaker and for sharing valuable insights on the importance of civic responsibility, understanding our rights, and recognizing our role in building a better community. Your knowledge and inspiration empowered students to become more aware, engaged, and responsible citizens.

We also extend our appreciation to ICAS de Calarian for being our partner school and to the students who actively participated as our audience. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn made the event meaningful and impactful.

Civic Education Lecture 🇵🇭

This afternoon, Sibika Hub’s Democracy Talks: History of Zamboanga successfully concluded at the WMSU ILS AVR in celebration of Dia de Zamboanga.
We were honored to learn from our distinguished speakers, Dr. Ryan Biong and Dr. Roel Borja, who shared insightful discussions on the rich historical roots of Zamboanga and the continuing role of history in shaping democratic spaces today. Their perspectives encouraged participants to look beyond dates and events—and instead understand history as a living narrative that informs identity, leadership, and civic responsibility.
The event was made even more meaningful by the active participation of students from the ILS High School and UPA. Their thoughtful questions and reflections showed a deep interest in preserving local history and engaging in conversations about democracy and community development.
As we close today’s session, we carry with us a renewed appreciation for Zamboanga’s heritage and a stronger commitment to informed, participatory citizenship.
