This Monday, May 4, 2026. The new set of 𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 along with their adviser, Sir Julius Caesar T. Ontolan, conducted their first general meeting held virtually. Here's a glimpse of the new set of officers having their first general meeting, strategizing task assignments and creating action plans to be aligned with the 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿 for the upcoming School Year 2026-2027.

Keep it up, Officers! Keep the flame of leadership alive through active participation and great initiative, ALL for the betterment of our school and our students!

But let us not confuse endurance with something to glorify. People were never meant to carry endless burdens in silence. Hardship is not a measure of worth.

A worker’s value is not in how much they can give up, but in the dignity of their labor and the impact they leave behind.
They are more than their roles. They are the reason communities function, families survive, and the nation stands.

And they deserve more than recognition,
they deserve fairness, respect, rest, and a life where living does not mean constant struggle.

Last April 18, 2026, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government officers of Talon-Talon National High School, actively participated in Day 2 of held at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University – Lantaka Campus, Zamboanga City. 🗳️

This seminar-workshop deepened our understanding of ethical leadership, public service, and the professional competencies needed to create meaningful impact in our community. Through insightful discussions and inspiring messages from esteemed speakers and youth leaders, participants were equipped with valuable knowledge on governance, responsibility, and servant leadership. 📚✨

As young leaders and future changemakers, may we continue to uphold integrity, excellence, and accountability in every action we take—because leadership is not only about having a voice, but about using it to serve. 💙

Last April 1, 2026, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government officers of Talon-Talon National High School, participated in Project PoliTALKS held at the Benjamin L. Go Building, Ateneo de Zamboanga University – Lantaka Campus, Zamboanga City. 🗳️

The event served as a platform for learning, awareness, and meaningful discussions on voter education and responsible leadership. Through this opportunity, our student leaders and learners gained valuable insights into the importance of political literacy, active participation, and making informed choices for the future. 📚✨

Special thanks to the Western Mindanao State University Political Science Freshmen for successfully organizing and creating Project PoliTALKS—an inspiring initiative that empowered the youth through voter education and political awareness. Headed by Zeeyadh Jadjuli, this meaningful project became a platform for learning, engagement, and responsible citizenship. Thank you for organizing this meaningful project! 🫂🩷
