There are leaders who leave their mark, and then there are those who forge new paths for generations to follow – and Jareb Lachica is undeniably in the latter.

When he stepped into the role of SELG President at CVDJMS, he carried not just the responsibility of leading our student body, but the weight of breaking a barrier that had stood for years. In a moment that will forever be etched in our school’s history, Jareb became the First Division Federated SELG President from the Sta. Maria District after many years, to take the helm at CVDJMS – a feat that didn’t just make us proud, but opened doors for countless young leaders in our community who now know that no dream is out of reach.

During his tenure, he brought fresh vision, unwavering dedication, and a heart that truly cared for every student’s voice. Whether it was organizing initiatives to strengthen school spirit, advocating for student welfare, or bridging gaps between our campus and the broader district, Jareb led with grace, courage, and a genuine desire to make a difference. He turned challenges into opportunities and proved that great leadership isn’t just about holding a position – it’s about lifting others up along the way.

But what makes his story even more inspiring is that his journey in student leadership never ended when his term at CVDJMS concluded. To this very day, Jareb continues to build on his legacy as he advances in his SSLG (Supreme Secondary Learners Government) journey, taking the lessons he learned here and using them to create positive change on an even bigger stage. He remains a beacon of hope and a role model for all of us – showing that once you embrace the call to lead, there’s no limit to how far you can go.

To Jareb: Thank you for showing us what’s possible when passion meets purpose. Your historic achievement will always be a source of pride for CVDJMS and the entire Sta. Maria District, and we can’t wait to see all the incredible things you’ll accomplish next! 💙✨
