On December 13, 2023. The 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃) 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐗 hosted and celebrated the 𝟓𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 with the theme "ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth". One of the highlights of the event was the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟓. This competition served as a vibrant and dynamic platform for participants to showcase the rich cultural heritage and diversity of ASEAN member countries through the art of dance.

In line with this, BSECON 1A extends heartfelt congratulations to Bryan Mark Verancis and to the 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 - 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐞 for achieving the remarkable feat of securing FIRST PLACER in the 2023 Regional ASEAN Dance Competition. Their outstanding performance not only showcased their exceptional talents but also brought immense pride and joy to our entire class and to the whole University.

On December 12, 2023. The 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 celebrated the WMSU Grand Student's Day in pursuit of fostering a vibrant and inclusive campus culture.

One of the highlights of the event is the 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐊 𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐒𝐎𝐍: 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐏𝐎𝐏 𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍. the Tribong Malaya reached new heights of creativity and cultural expression with the participation of the dynamic dance group. The group's performance was a captivating blend of traditional and modern dance forms, weaving a narrative that celebrated the spirit of freedom and unity. The narrative unfolded on the stage, telling the story of Apo Whang-Od's dedication to preserving the art of tattooing and her role as a cultural guardian. The dance not only showcased the technical prowess of the dancers but also served as a form of cultural preservation and education, introducing the audience to the rich heritage of the Kalinga people.

Their captivating portrayal of Apo Whang-Od's legacy, combined with their impressive choreography and cultural storytelling, set them apart as the stand-out performers of the event.

On October 2023, The 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 celebrates the 56th WMSU Internationalization and ASEAN Celebration with the theme "ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth". One of the highlight events was the ASEAN Dance Competition. This competition served as a vibrant and dynamic platform for participants to showcase the rich cultural heritage and diversity of ASEAN member countries through the art of dance.

In line with this extraordinary achievement, BSECON 1A extends heartfelt congratulations to our outstanding class president for securing the remarkable 2nd Place in the ASEAN Dance Competition during the 56th WMSU Internationalization and ASEAN Celebration. His incredible talent, dedication, and performance undoubtedly brought immense pride not only to himself but to our entire class.

On the First week of September 2023, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐖𝐌𝐒𝐔) 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐨 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 was celebrated in the pursuit of athleticism, camaraderie, and knowledge. The annual sports extravaganza brought together students, athletes, and sports enthusiasts from across the university community, creating an atmosphere of excitement and healthy competition.

On the day after each competition, it was followed by the announcement of the winners. Participants from BSECON 1A showcased their individual talent and athleticism through sports ,and hence results an outstanding marks.

The first notion of the Bench Yell Competition soared onto the stage like arrows, setting the tone for an exhilarating display of camaraderie and spirited competition. The Warrior - ECONOCTUA, embodying the essence of bravery, strategy, and wisdom fought valiantly, roaring with unwavering determination as the stage was filled with blood, sweat, and tears creating an atmosphere charged with energy and enthusiasm. In the arena of creativity and expression, students embraced the challenge, each yell echoing the fearless spirit of the "Brave", forging unforgettable memories and fostering a sense of unity among the participants and spectators alike. 🏹🧡
