Matagumpay na isinagawa ang YUGTO ‘26 (Youth United in Governance through Transformative Opportunities) sa Mataas na Paaralan ng Culianan na pinangunahan ng Supreme Secondary Learners’ Government (SSLG) ng Culianan nitong Mayo 13-14, 2026.
‎
‎Pinangasiwaan ito nina Bb. Zsarina Joy C. Guevara, tagapayo ng SSLG, at Bb. Jaziel Kate Pasion, pangulo ng SSLG. Ayon sa tala ng SSLG, sinalihan ito ng mahigit-kumulang 30 mag-aaral mula sa mga organisasyong Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB), YES-O, at SSLG ng Mataas na Paaralan ng Culianan at Pasobolong Integrated School.

‎Tinalakay sa naturang aktibidad ang iba’t ibang paksang may kaugnayan sa pamumuno sa pamamagitan ng breakout sessions, group discussions, at self-reflections. Nagbigay naman ng mensahe tungkol sa pagiging isang lider si Bb. Christ'l Lianne Lagayan, HR Head ng ICAN.

‎Ayon kay Ma. Fatima M. Tan, PIO ng BKB, naging makabuluhan ang isinagawang pagsasanay dahil nakatulong ito upang mas makilala niya ang kaniyang sarili at ang mga aspetong kinakailangan pa niyang pagbutihin bilang isang lider.

‎“The primary goal of YUGTO is to orient and train officers regarding their positions, roles, duties, responsibilities, and the committees they handle so they would know what to do and help ensure the success of programs and activities,” ani Bb. Zsarina Joy C. Guevara.

𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙊𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨

Last May 14–15, student leaders from the 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝐁𝐊𝐁, and 𝚈𝙴𝚂-𝙾 gathered for two meaningful days of leadership, collaboration, and transformative learning.

On Day 1, our SSLG Adviser, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗭𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗖. 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗮, facilitated discussions on the Constitution and By-Laws of SSLG, BKB, and YES-O, strengthening the participants’ understanding of student governance, accountability, and leadership responsibilities.

In the afternoon, student leaders immersed themselves in breakout sessions under different working committees where they explored the functions and responsibilities of 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁, 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝙇𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨, 𝚃𝚎𝚌𝚑𝚗𝚒𝚌𝚊𝚕, 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆, and 𝖣𝗈𝖼𝗎𝗆𝖾𝗇𝗍𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇 committees.

The day also featured an inspiring session by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁’𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻, HR Head of I Can, through the talk:

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 – 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽

where she shared valuable insights on 𝗌𝖾𝗋𝗏𝖺𝗇𝗍 𝗅𝖾𝖺𝖽𝖾𝗋𝗌𝗁𝗂𝗉, 𝖺𝖼𝖼𝗈𝗎𝗇𝗍𝖺𝖻𝗂𝗅𝗂𝗍𝗒, 𝗂𝗇𝗍𝖾𝗀𝗋𝗂𝗍𝗒, 𝗂𝗇𝗂𝗍𝗂𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗏𝖾, and creating positive impact beyond leadership titles.

Day 2 became even more exciting as participants engaged in the Egg Protection Game, committee team-building activities, and interactive sessions on 𝙂𝙋𝙊𝘼, 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙨, 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨, and 𝙈𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙚-𝙎𝙩𝙮𝙡𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨.

The student leaders then crafted sample activities following the action plan format and later presented their outputs through a live simulation activity, highlighted by the 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻’s demonstration of a parliamentary session.

The activity concluded with an examen and a heartfelt appreciation activity where colorful bands were exchanged, symbolizing gratitude, unity, friendship, and the meaningful connections formed throughout the training.

Indeed, 𝗬𝗨𝗚𝗧𝗢 reminded every student leader that leadership is not only about positions, but about 𝗌𝖾𝗋𝗏𝗂𝖼𝖾, 𝖼𝗈𝗅𝗅𝖺𝖻𝗈𝗋𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇, and creating positive change for others.

Today, May 13, 2026, marked the beginning of YUGTO ’26 — Youth United in Governance through Transformative Opportunities — made possible through the collaboration of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government of Culianan National High School, SSLG Pasobolong Integrated School, YES-O Culianan, and BKB Culianan. 🤝✨

Day 1 became a meaningful start as students, student leaders, and organizations came together with one shared goal: to lead, serve, and inspire. Through teamwork, cooperation, and active participation, the event created memorable moments, strengthened camaraderie, and encouraged everyone to become better leaders for the community. 🌟

This day reminded us that leadership is not about standing alone, but about working hand in hand to create positive change and transformative opportunities for the youth. 💚

On May 11, 2026, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government of Culianan National High School successfully conducted its 2nd General Meeting attended by the elected officers, appointed officers, board members, and adviser.

The meeting became a meaningful opportunity to strengthen teamwork, discuss important plans, and continue building unity within the organization.

Every attendance reflected commitment, responsibility, and willingness to serve the student body with dedication and integrity. ✨

To everyone who attended and participated, thank you for your time, effort, and cooperation. Your presence shows that leadership is not only about holding a position, but also about showing up, listening, and working together for a common goal. 🤝
