• For a relatively new technical school in the Region, American Career Training Institute offers a wide range of training qualifications relevant to the needs of the Hotel industry.
• Apprenticeship by Experience through Aboitiz and Negros Navigation and local, national and even international partnered Hotel industries makes our students stand out above the rest since they will be developed applying their skills from what they have learned in our training centre when they are in the “real world of work”.
• All our training programs are possible for enrichment. Students have the advantage of selecting their schedule either Morning or Afternoon session every semester.
• Integrated in our curriculum are the Intensive English and the Customer Service Program. These modules are from United States and carefully handled by American trainers.
• We have counselors that provide a rich Guidance and Counseling Program with a range of events and interventions appropriate to different needs and designed to promote academic success. Counselors work individually with students on school admissions or graduation programs. Personal counseling is part of a counselor’s role.
• A strong creative A.C.T.I Performing Arts provides performance opportunities through dance and singing. The school newspaper also provides students with an opportunity to contribute with the written word, photos, and graphic design.
• Extra-curricular activities encompass a broad range of talented students, a diverse array of student-managed clubs, and a strong student leadership program (comprised of an A.C.T.I Student Body) responsible for organizing student activities and providing feedback to teachers and administrators. Responsible citizenship is promoted through peer tutoring, peer advising, and community service programs.
