𝘍𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘴 and 𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 students are welcome to visit the 𝐌𝐒𝐀 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐁 to avail of free male and female university uniforms.
Distribution is on a first-come, first-served basis with limited items per student.
Simply approach any officer and present your student ID or proof of enrollment.

We, the elected officers of Western Mindanao State University – Muslim Students' Association (WMSU–MSA), are honored and grateful to have served the Muslim Crimsons throughout the Academic Year 2025–2026. With unity, cooperation, and the guidance of Allah ﷻ, the association has continued its commitment to promoting Islamic awareness, strengthening brotherhood and sisterhood, supporting student welfare, and fostering a welcoming environment for all members of our university community.

Alhamdulillah, through the collective efforts of our officers, members, advisers, alumni, partners, and supporters, many meaningful and profound activities, programs, and initiatives have been successfully carried out this academic year. These accomplishments embody our shared dedication to service, leadership, and the values of Islam.

✨ 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓: 𝑬𝒊𝒅 𝒂𝒍-𝑨𝒅𝒉𝒂✨

Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed, peaceful, and deeply meaningful Eid al-Adha 🌙✨

The 10th of Dhul Hijjah, known as Yawm al-Nahr (The Day of Sacrifice), stands as the pinnacle of this sacred month and the single greatest day of the year in Islam. It marks the beautiful culmination of the Hujjaj who went for pilgrimage and features the obligation of Qurbani, reminding us of Prophet Ibrahim’s (عليه السلام) ultimate submission to Allah (سبحانه وتعالى).

As the blessed first ten days of Dhul Hijjah come to an end, we remind ourselves that while these special days have passed, our devotion never stops. Our worship of Allah is a lifelong journey. As Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) reminds us in the Qur'an:

“And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (death).” —
Surah Al-Hijr, 15:99✨

As we celebrate today, let us humbly reflect on the profound virtues, historical significance and beautifully recommended actions of this day.

🌟 The Core Virtues of Yawm al-Nahr
1.The Best Day:
Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said that this is the greatest day of the year to Allah (سبحانه وتعالى).

2. All Major Worship Combined: Scholars like Imam Ibn Hajar point out that this day is special because it brings together the most important acts of worship all at once: *prayer, fasting, charity, and Hajj.

3.Sins Forgiven: Giving our Qurbani sacrifice washes away our sins and teaches us to be truly grateful and devoted to Allah (سبحانه وتعالى).

4.Honoring Prophet Ibrahim: It reminds us of the beautiful story of faith, sacrifice and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim (عليه السلام) and his son Prophet Ismail (عليه السلام) to our Rabb.

🤲 Recommended Actions for this Blessed Day🤲
To fully capture the spiritual rewards of this virtuous day, let us simple servants strive to practice these highly encouraged acts:

1. Perform the Eid Prayer (Salat al-Eid): Attending the special congregational prayer is an emphasized Sunnah. 🕌

2. Offer Qurbani: Fulfill the sacrifice if you possess the financial means. The meat is traditionally divided into three parts: one for the family, one for relatives, and one for the poor and needy. 🐑

3. Engage in Takbirat: Recite the praises of Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) constantly from the Fajr of the 9th of Dhul Hijjah through to the Asr prayer of the 13th day. 🗣️

4. Dhikr and Dua: Increase your remembrance of Allah (سبحانه وتعالى), express heartfelt gratitude, and make sincere supplications. 📿

5. Spread Joy and Charity: Wear your best clothes, visit family and friends, and give generously to those in need to reflect the true communal spirit of the festival. 🤝

“Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you.” (Surah Al-Hajj, 22:37)✨

May Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) in His infinite mercy accept our prayers, our simple sacrifices, and our good deeds, and may He continuously guide us toward humility and devotion. 🤲
