APRIL 1 IS A REGULAR HOLIDAY NATIONWIDE IN OBSERVANCE OF EID’L FITR| Malacañang has issued Proclamation 839 declaring Tuesday, April 1, 2025 a regular holiday in the country in observance of Eid’l Fitr or the Feast of Ramadhan.

The proclamation, issued today, March 20 and signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, by the authority of the president, states that the declaration is to “bring the religious and cultural significance of Eid’l Fitr to the fore of national consciousness, and to allow the entire Filipino nation to join their Muslim brothers and sisters in peace and harmony in the observance and celebration of Eid’l Fitr.”

On the other hand, February 25, 2025 (Tuesday), the anniversary of the 1984 EDSA People Power Revolution is a SPECIAL WORKING DAY pursuant to Proclamation 727 issued by President Bongbong Marcos last October 30, 2024.
