With immense joy and pride, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 celebrates the academic achievement of one of our esteemed faculty members, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗟𝗼𝘂 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗵𝘂𝗮 𝗠. 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼, 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗣 (𝗖𝗔𝗥).
Mr. Francisco successfully presented his research paper at the 𝗣𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗔-𝗦𝗘𝗣𝗜 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, hosted by the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in Davao City. His paper, “𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗶’𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆,” beautifully reflects the deep intellectual rigor and dedication to transformative education that we cherish within our department and community.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 & 𝗦𝗚𝗢 𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔.𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳

The College Department of 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹–𝗧𝗘𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗡 successfully conducted its 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 at the 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼-𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺 (𝗔𝗩𝗥), 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 bringing together students for an informative and meaningful beginning of the academic year.
The orientation served as an avenue to welcome both new and returning students, providing them with essential information about the institution's academic policies, student services, campus guidelines, and the values that shape the Immaculate Conception Archdiocesan School community. It also encouraged students to embrace the opportunities and responsibilities that come with college life while fostering a spirit of excellence, discipline, and service.

The afternoon session continued with the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗦𝗚𝗢) 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, where students actively exercised their right to vote and choose the individuals who will serve as their representatives for the academic year. This activity highlighted the importance of responsible leadership, active participation, and democratic engagement within the college community. Through this process, students demonstrated their commitment to selecting leaders who will uphold the interests of their fellow students and contribute to the growth and development of the institution.

As another academic year begins, may this day serve as a reminder that every student has a role to play in creating a vibrant, united, and Christ-centered community. May our newly elected student leaders lead with integrity, humility, and dedication, inspiring others through their service and commitment to the common good.

Preparing Future Professionals:
A Career Development Seminar–Workshop on “Skills for the Gen Z Workplace”

The College Department successfully conducted its Career Development Seminar–Workshop last February 4, 2026, carrying the theme “Skills for the Gen Z Workplace.” This academic activity was designed to prepare students for the demands of the modern professional environment by strengthening essential workplace competencies, career readiness, and adaptability in an increasingly dynamic and technology-driven world.

The seminar was attended by third-year students from the Philosophy, Hospitality Management, and Business Administration programs, providing them with relevant insights on employability, professional skills, and career development aligned with current industry standards.

The activity was graced by the presence of the College’s academic and administrative leaders, namely: Dr. Romeo J. Gabito, College Dean; Mrs. Ma. Socorro F. Cipriano, MPA, Dean of Student Affairs and Department Head of Business Administration; Ms. April Joy P. Gregorio, Department Head of Hospitality Management; and Dr. Mary Jane A. Galang, RGC, College Guidance Counselor, whose guidance, leadership, and support contributed to the success of the seminar.

This seminar–workshop underscores the College’s continuing commitment to holistic student formation and to equipping future professionals with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary for meaningful and productive participation in the workforce.

Today we celebrate All Saints’ Day, honoring all who lived with faith and love for God. The saints remind us that holiness is possible in everyday life at home, in school, and in our work. May their example inspire us to follow Christ faithfully and strive to become saints in our own time.

Entrepreneurship in the Hospitality: Turning Service into Success

The Immaculate Conception Archdiocesan School - Hospitality Management Department successfully held an inspiring seminar last Monday, October 13, 2025, at the ICAS Campus A.

In solidarity with the Philippine Commission on Women’s (PCW) advocacy to end online sexual abuse and exploitation of children, the ICAS Tetuan College Department, in collaboration with the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs, BS Business Administration - ICAS Tetuan, and BS Hospitality Management - ICAS Tetuan, proudly presents the award-winning Anti-OSAEC-CSAEM campaign videos, “Mirror” and “Play.”

These thought-provoking and emotionally powerful short films shed light on the alarming realities of online child exploitation and the urgent need to safeguard children in today’s digital landscape. Acclaimed both nationally and internationally for their creative excellence and strong social impact, these films serve as compelling reminders of our collective duty to foster a safer, more compassionate online world for every child.

The Immaculate Conception Archdiocesan School of Tetuan formally opened its much-anticipated Palaro last Monday, September 22, with a celebration that brought together faith, school spirit, and camaraderie among the students.

The day began with a solemn Opening Mass presided over by School Director Msgr. Maximo Campo, SThL, setting a tone of gratitude and prayerful reflection for the activities ahead. Following the liturgy, the campus came alive with color and music as students, faculty, and staff paraded around the community accompanied by the rousing beats of the school’s drum and lyre corps before returning to the school grounds for the official ceremonies.

The highlight of the opening program included the athletes’ oath-taking, affirming their commitment to fairness, discipline, and sportsmanship, as well as the symbolic lighting of the Palaro cauldron, which signified the official start of the week-long competitions. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as students from each department showcased their creativity and energy in the Best Yell Demonstration and Field Demonstration contests—performances that not only entertained but also embodied the unity and pride of their respective teams.

Adding to the sense of rivalry and school spirit was the ceremonial raising of the department flags, with students competing for the distinction of being the first to see their banner unfurled on the school’s flagpoles. The cheers, chants, and lively performances set the stage for the days of athletic and cultural competition that lie ahead.

The Palaro 2025 opening was not only a celebration of sports and talent but also a reaffirmation of ICAS’s commitment to forming students who are not only skilled and spirited but also grounded in faith and values.

College students of the Immaculate Conception Archdiocesan School of Tetuan proudly joined Archdiocese’s Walk for Creation.

Walking from the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception to Fort Pilar Shrine, participants carried placards calling for environmental stewardship and standing firmly against corruption.

They were joined by Senior High students and fellow students and faculty from St. Joseph School Foundation, Pilar College, and ICAS Calarian.
