Why IT Professionals don't require a board licensure exam?

1. Rapidly evolving field: Technology changes quickly, making standardized knowledge assessments difficult. A one-time exam might not capture the latest skills and trends.
2. Diverse job roles: IT encompasses a vast spectrum of roles, from software developers to network administrators to security analysts. A single exam wouldn't effectively assess the diverse skillsets needed.
3. Focus on skills and experience: Employers often prioritize hands-on experience, certifications, and portfolio demonstrations over theoretical knowledge tested in exams.
4. Potential barriers to entry: Strict licensing could create unnecessary barriers to entry, hindering innovation and competition within the field.
