THAT'S WHAT WE CALL "GLAD TIDINGS." 🌊💫

This Wednesday, December 06, 2023, the Economics 2B students celebrate their huge achievement as they placed the title of 2nd runner-up in the culminating activity of PATHFIT-O3, dubbed the "World of Jazz." The said activity sets different categories of dances, such as Broadway, pop jazz, and contemporary jazz, that were participated in by different departments of the university.

In this matter, we humbly want to express our deep gratitude to the people who supported us from the beginning of the competition until its finale. We would like to show our gratitude to our choreographer, Ate Trixie Anne Alvarez, who played a vital role throughout the competition and patiently guided us every step of the way. To our professor, Sir Johnny Laureano, for giving us this wonderful opportunity to perform and to show our capability in the said competition. To our friends, family and loved ones who supported and motivated us from the start of our preparations down to our last rehearsals.

Most importantly, we thank God for everything in between, who became our source of strength and beacon of light in the competition; without his guidance, we couldn't make this happen 🤍✨

From the bottom of our hearts, we pledge to stand firm and proud of what we've accomplished, and this will be remembered as one of our most memorable experiences in life.

What a blast!

The BS Economics 2B earned the spot as 2nd RUNNER-UP out of the 15 participants competing for the POP JAZZ CATEGORY during the "PATH-FIT-3 JAZZ DANCE" culminating activity with the theme: " A day of Promoting Lifelong Fitness, Advocating Wellness, and Fostering Camaraderie through Sports and Dances", last December 6, 2023 at the Western Mindanao State University, Gymnasium.

The efforts, determination, and tangible things invested has been paid off. Dancing not only for grades, but for the art of performing. You dance your way to success with a bang and grace. Truly, a well-deserved triumph.

"No pain, no gain" here's to the cramps you have had from all the late afternoon and early night routines, cheers🥂

“KITCHENOMICS”

November 28, 2023, the students of Economics 2-B held a practicum performance for their Entrepreneurial Mind entitled "KITCHENOMICS," which was associated with our dearly professor, Ma'am Rosette Perano.

The performance involved such crisp and delightful foods that surely everyone was anticipated to go for a taste. The objective of the performance is to assess the creativity of the students in the various foods they have prepared and to create ideas that can enrich the students' capabilities in terms of how to manage and practice of having a business venture.

The said activity gave a foresight knowledge to the students and it didn't just test their cooperation and creativity but most definitely, it successfully created new exuberant memories that everyone will treasure 💫✨
