PUBLIC ADVISORY | CLASSES & INTRAMURALS REMAIN SUSPENDED
Please be informed that classes at all levels remain suspended on Thursday, August 20, 2026, in accordance with the latest public advisory of the Zamboanga City Government.
The suspension is due to the ongoing dengue epidemic and the need to conduct campus-wide anti-dengue measures, as well as the high heat index reaching the Extreme Caution Level.
INTRAMURALS ALSO REMAIN SUSPENDED until further notice. All scheduled activities related to the Intramurals are temporarily put on hold.
Students, parents, and personnel are advised to stay safe, take necessary precautions against dengue and extreme heat, and await further announcements from the school administration.

SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENT | DAY OF MOURNING
Dear Josepheans,
In solidarity with the entire Zamboanga City community following the tragic incident that claimed the lives of two young students, classes at all levels are suspended today, Wednesday, August 19, 2026, in accordance with the declaration of the City Government of Zamboanga.
Our scheduled Intramurals activities are likewise cancelled today.
Let us use this day to pause, pray, and remember the lives lost. We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved families, classmates, teachers, and the entire school community affected by this heartbreaking tragedy.
May we continue to stand together as one community in compassion, prayer, and solidarity. May the souls of the departed rest in eternal peace. 🕯️🖤

The much-awaited Intramurals 2026 officially kicked off with an exciting and meaningful Opening Ceremony, bringing our Josephean community together in the spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and friendship!
Inspired by the theme “ANIME SPORTS: Bringing Ideas of TEAMWORK, CAMARADERIE and DEDICATION into REALITY,” Day 1 showcased the passion, energy, and determination of our students as they came together to compete, support their teams, and create unforgettable memories.
From the opening ceremony to the thrilling games and enthusiastic cheers, our athletes demonstrated that true victory goes beyond winning—it is about working together, building camaraderie, showing dedication, and giving one’s best.

A Community United in Prayer and Safety
The St. Joseph School Foundation, Inc. stands in prayer and solidarity with the victims, families, and school community affected by the recent tragic shooting incident in our city.
As we celebrate our School Sports Fest, the safety and security of our students, parents, personnel, and guests remain our top priority. The school has strengthened its security measures, including the presence of two police officers on campus throughout the event.
We also ask for the continued cooperation and vigilance of our parents and guardians in helping keep our school community safe.
Together, let us uphold unity, responsibility, sportsmanship, and mutual respect, trusting in God's protection and guidance as we make our Sports Fest a safe and meaningful celebration for everyone.

A First Sunday Mass with the Josephean Community
Yesterday, Msgr. Maximo A. Campo presided over his first 9:00 AM Sunday Holy Mass with the Josephean Community.
In his homily, he shared a powerful reminder: “The love of Christ is beyond borders.” May we continue to encounter Christ through genuine love, compassion, and a heart that reaches beyond boundaries.
May his message inspire us to live out our faith through love and service to one another.
