Today, we honor the 164th birth anniversary of Dr. José Protacio Rizal, our national hero, born on June 19, 1861, in Calamba, Laguna.

A brilliant writer, doctor, and patriot, Rizal used the power of words—not weapons—to awaken the Filipino spirit and spark the flames of revolution. His novels, Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, opened the eyes of many to the social injustices of Spanish colonial rule.

Did you know?
📚 Rizal was a polyglot who spoke 22 languages!
🩺 He studied ophthalmology in Europe to treat his mother's eyesight.
🖋️ He started writing Noli Me Tangere at the age of 24.

Rizal's legacy lives on—not just in history books—but in every Filipino who fights for truth, freedom, and justice.

🅩🅒🅢 invites everyone to take part in this annual event as we rally behind this year's theme: “𝘚𝘢𝘮𝘢-𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘉𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘢.” Let’s join forces to prepare our school facilities for the new academic year and help create a safe, clean, and learning-friendly environment for all.
