Today, we commemorate the founding of La Liga Filipina, established by Dr. Jose P. Rizal to promote ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐ฉ๐ž๐š๐œ๐ž๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐ซ๐ž๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ, and ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ.

Though the organization existed for only a short time, its ideals inspired Filipinos to stand together, serve their fellow countrymen, and pursue meaningful change through patriotism and civic responsibility.
