The College of Public Administration and Development Studies (CPADS) of Western Mindanao State University proudly joins the nation in celebrating the 2026 National Women’s Month.

As future public administrators, policy-makers, and governance leaders, we recognize that gender equality is not only a social advocacy—it is a governance imperative. Inclusive institutions, gender-responsive policies, and participatory leadership are foundations of good governance. When women lead in public service, communities benefit from more accountable systems, equitable decision-making, and sustainable development outcomes.

This month, we reaffirm our commitment to mainstreaming gender and development (GAD), strengthening women’s participation in public institutions, and cultivating leadership that reflects integrity, competence, and compassion.

Let us continue to lead like the Babaylans—grounded in wisdom, guided by purpose, and committed to public value.

Today, we stand in full support of our Master of Public Administration students as they take the MPA Comprehensive Examination (General Field) at the CTE Social Hall.

This milestone is more than an academic requirement, it is a testament to your discipline, critical thinking, and commitment to public service. The Comprehensive Exam reflects the depth of your understanding in governance, public policy, administration, and ethical leadership—competencies essential to advancing responsive and accountable institutions.

MPA & DPA Compre Exam Advisory:

1. Please be reminded that today is the deadline for the application of the MPA and DPA Compre Exams.

2. Examinees are advised to be at the social hall, earlier than 7:30AM.

3. Examinees with vehicles, simply present your ID and/or current COR to the security guard assigned.
