| LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND TEAM BUILDING
The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Basic Education—Central and East Campus, successfully conducted its Leadership Training and Team Building, yesterday, September 12, 2026 at Southern Heights by Cali Farm, KM10, Susana Camp, La Paz, Zamboanga City.
The activity aimed to strengthen the leadership, teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills of student leaders while fostering camaraderie and a deeper sense of responsibility in serving their fellow learners.
The SSLG extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Edwin M. Caliolio, School President, Sir Brian Torejas, LPT, Basic Education Principal, and Sir Misael Amora, Basic Education Coordinator, for their support and guidance in making this activity possible.
Our gratitude also goes to our event speaker, Asst. Professor Levie G. Tejada of Western Mindanao State University (WMSU), for sharing valuable insights and lessons that encouraged our student leaders to lead with purpose and responsibility.
Special appreciation is extended to our facilitators, Alshead A. Tebbeng, Ralph John Mickel S. Salcedo, Adzwan M. Alredzwan, and Earl Florence R. Sanson—for facilitating meaningful and engaging activities throughout the training.
We also recognize our dedicated SSLG Advisers: Ma'am Jessipa S. Adil (SHS Central), Sir Christian Samorin (JHS Central), and Sir Ricky Gumandao (SHS and JHS) for their continued guidance and support to our student leaders.
As we continue to build leaders who listen, collaborate, and serve, may this training remind us that leadership is ultimately about the people we represent and the community we strive to build.
