🖤 Tuan Datu Hadji Abdullah Nuño Memorial Integrated School Launches Brigada Pagbasa Initiative in Support of Literacy Development 🖤

With the theme “Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa”, Tuan Datu Hadji Abdullah Nuño Memorial Integrated School launched its Brigada Pagbasa initiative as part of the ongoing Brigada Eskwela 2025 campaign.

Brigada Pagbasa is a national literacy advocacy program that supports the Department of Education’s efforts to improve reading proficiency among Filipino learners. The initiative aims to provide access to literacy enhancement programs through inclusive, community-driven, and multi-modal learning approaches.

Through this activity, the school affirms its commitment to help children become “educated for life” by mobilizing stakeholders, educators, and volunteers to create engaging reading opportunities. By fostering a culture of reading within the community, the program contributes to increased learning outcomes and holistic development among students.

🖤 Tuan Datu Hadji Abdullah Nuño Memorial Integrated School Supports DepEd’s National Inventory Day Initiative 🖤

In line with the Brigada Eskwela 2025 Program, Tuan Datu Hadji Abdullah Nuño Memorial Integrated School actively participated in the Department of Education’s (DepEd) National Inventory Day (NID), a newly launched initiative aimed at strengthening data accuracy and school preparedness for the upcoming academic year.

The National Inventory Day seeks to validate DepEd’s existing data, engage stakeholders in school readiness efforts, and promote data-driven partnerships. Specifically, it focuses on the verification of essential school resources, comparison against official records, and active community participation in the inventory process.

In support of this initiative, Tuan Datu Hadji Abdullah Nuño Memorial Integrated School conducted an initial planning meeting to organize the activity. During the session, the school administration formed various committees responsible for overseeing the different aspects of the inventory, ensuring efficient and accurate data gathering and validation.

The school’s proactive engagement in this program highlights its commitment to transparency, collaboration, and readiness for the 2025–2026 school year.

🖤 Tuan Datu Hadji Abdullah Nuño Memorial Integrated School Joins District Brigada Eskwela 2025 Kick-Off 🖤

Tuan Datu Hadji Abdullah Nuño Memorial Integrated School proudly participated in the District Brigada Eskwela 2025 Kick-Off held on June 10, 2025.

The kick-off began with a lively parade featuring the school head, administrative staff, teaching personnel, and various stakeholders. Their enthusiastic participation demonstrated a united front in preparing for the upcoming school year through collaborative community action.

Following the parade, a short program was conducted to formally acknowledge the participants. The event also included a pledge of commitment, reaffirming the shared dedication to creating a safe, clean, and learner-friendly environment for students.

Brigada Eskwela, a nationwide initiative of the Department of Education, mobilizes community members and partners to contribute their time, effort, and resources in readying schools for the opening of classes. The involvement of Tuan Datu Hadji Abdullah Nuño Memorial Integrated School reflects its continued commitment to education and community partnership.

One of the Programs to be implemented in the Brigada Eskwela 2025 is the awareness in Anti-Bullying, so the CPP Coordinator Ms. Regina I. Farcasa conducted an anti-bullying orientation during the Kick Off to promote a safe and inclusive learning environment within the school community. The activity aimed to raise awareness among students, teachers, and stakeholders about the negative impacts of bullying and to educate them on appropriate ways to respond to and prevent such behavior. Emphasizing the values of respect, empathy, and kindness, the orientation served as a proactive measure to foster a culture of discipline and mutual understanding, ensuring that all learners feel secure and supported in their educational journey.

Tuan Datu Hadji Abdullah Nuño Memorial Integrated School successfully held its Brigada Eskwela Kick Off Program with the theme: "Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa," on June 9, 2025, marking the beginning of a community-wide effort to prepare the school for the upcoming academic year. The event was actively participated in by teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, students, as well as representatives from TUPAD and 4Ps recipients coming from various Puroks. Their collective effort showcased the spirit of bayanihan and highlighted the strong partnership between the school and the community in ensuring a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment for all learners.
