Last March 11, 2026, our delegates for the Arduino Education Day Philippines 2026 received a special blessing from our principal, Fr. Roberto Boholst, SJ, before heading into the competition.

The competition begins today, March 13–14, 2026 at the IEC Convention Center Cebu in Cebu City.

As they begin this exciting journey, we send them off with our prayers and full support. May they be guided with wisdom, creativity, and confidence as they represent our school on the international stage.

SNAPSHOTS | Teachers’ Robotics Refresher Training

In its pursuit of excellence in technical education, the AdZU Junior High School TLE Department and Laboratory Technicians participate in the Robotics Refresher Teachers Training facilitated by EduLearn Technologies on January 17, 2026, at the Robotics Laboratory, ADZU Junior High School Building, Kreutz Campus. The program provides an immersive, hands-on experience for teachers and laboratory technicians, equipping them with practical skills in RoboJuno and Arduino systems while inspiring innovative approaches to teaching robotics in the classroom.

The training refreshes participants’ knowledge of robotics and Arduino, offers practical experience in assembling, programming, and operating robotic systems, and builds confidence in facilitating lessons and laboratory activities. It emphasizes the safe and effective integration of robotics in teaching while promoting continuous professional development and the use of emerging educational technologies to foster creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking among students.

Guided by Engr Jomar P Cruz, MAEd, and Ms Rhonna Duran, EduLearn Consultant, participants not only strengthen their technical skills but are also inspired to encourage student engagement, innovation, and curiosity. The training serves as a meaningful platform for teachers to translate learning into classroom practices that enrich student experiences.

This initiative reflects AdZU’s core values of magis, cura personalis, and excellence in service by equipping teachers to guide students in both technical skills and personal growth. Through robotics and technology programs, AdZU develops learners who are competent, compassionate, and ready to use their skills to benefit others, showing that modern education blends knowledge, creativity, and character.
