CENTER ANNOUNCEMENT

Following the City Government's advisory on a declaration of a Muslim Holiday known as Amun Jadid or the Islamic New Year, Kumon Guiwan Zamboanga City Center is closed on June 16, 2026.

Students' schedule which falls on a Tuesday-Friday class days, may opt the following:

Option 1: Pick up worksheets on Monday June 15, so homework may be given to compensate for the holiday.

Option 2: Attend Monday class schedule with concurrence with teachers-in-charge, so a convenient time may be given.

Center will resume office operations on Wednesday, June 17. Thank you very much.

NOHAY TRABAJO, NOHAY CLASE| June 16, 2026 (Tuesday) is a Muslim legal holiday in celebration of AMUN JADID (Islamic New Year) pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 1083.

Areas covered in the declaration are the provinces of Basilan, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao, North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sulu, Tawi-tawi, Zamboanga del Sur and Zamboanga del Norte and the cities of Cotabato, Iligan, Marawi, Pagadian and ZAMBOANGA.

This Independence Day, the nation comes together in celebration of its freedom and identity.
