Dr. Ricardo A. Somblingo, Dean of the College of Teacher Education, served as the representative of Western Mindanao State University in the August 12–15, 2025 national workshop on developing and validating the system for designating Teacher Education Centers of Excellence (COEs). The gathering of leaders from LUCs, SUCs, and private TEIs aimed to craft a future-ready framework to strengthen teacher education and advance national development.
