In observance of Ninoy Aquino Day, the Malacañang Palace, under Proclamation No. 1006, has declared August 21, 2026 (Friday), a Special (Non-Working) Day in commemoration of the life, courage, and sacrifice of Senator Benigno “Ninoy” S. Aquino Jr.

Let us take this opportunity to remember and reflect on his enduring legacy and contributions to the Filipino people's pursuit of freedom and democracy.

Please be informed that classes remain suspended tomorrow, August 20, 2026 as declared by the City Government of Zamboanga due to the High Heat Index and conduct of a Campus Wide Anti-Dengue Measure.

Students are advised to stay safe, hydrated, and updated through the official NZCI announcements.

In observance of the Day of Mourning declared by the City Government of Zamboanga, classes are suspended today, August 19, 2026.

We encourage everyone to take this time to pray, reflect and remember those affected by the recent tragedy.

As part of our commitment to providing a clean, safe, and healthy learning environment for all students, faculty, and staff, a school-wide fumigation activity was successfully conducted on August 16, 2026, at the Old and New Buildings of Nuevo Zamboanga College, Inc.

The activity was carried out with the assistance of the Zamboanga City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ZCDRRMO) in support of the College’s ongoing efforts to promote campus health, sanitation, and disease prevention.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the personnel and individuals who assisted in the successful conduct of this activity. Their support and cooperation were instrumental in helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for the NZCI community.

📢 ATTENTION, NUEVO ZAMBOANGA COLLEGE STUDENTS!

The Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) reminds all freshmen and OLD students that attendance at the Students' Orientation is MANDATORY.

📌 OLD students who have not yet officially enrolled for Academic Year 2026–2027, including those who are still in the process of completing their enrollment, are also required to attend.

This orientation will provide important information on academic policies, student services, campus rules and regulations, enrollment procedures, and other institutional updates to help you prepare for the new academic year.
