COME HOLY SPIRIT | The Junior High School Community celebrated it’s Holy Spirit Mass today, June 25, 2025 with Rev. Fr. Guillrey Anthony “Ernald” M. Andal, SJ, University President, as the Presider and Preacher, with concelebrating priests, Rev. Fr. Roberto M. Boholst, SJ, JHS Principal, Fr. Jem Guevara, SJ, Pastoral Assistant of the Basic Education Unit.

Fr. Ernald SJ, in his homily, reminded us that sometimes, even when we study hard, do our best, and strive to improve, we may still feel like nothing is happening—“Lord... KAPE-ling pa ba kita?”

But just like God’s promise to Abram, His assurance doesn’t always come with instant results. Instead, it comes with presence, with nearness, with the Spirit who stays even in the silence, even in the waiting. This school year, may we embrace not just the pursuit of achievements, but the deeper grace to remain faithful: —to stay kind when things get tough —to stay generous even when unnoticed —to stay honest and hopeful even without quick rewards —to stay grounded in who God is forming us to become.

The Holy Spirit doesn’t always change our situations right away, but He transforms us from within. Let’s begin the year not with pressure for instant results, but with hearts open to slow, steady, and faithful transformation.

He stays. And by His grace, so shall we.
