The 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 was truly a 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 🌟, filled with moments of quiet reflection and creative expression, each activity serves as a reminder that caring goes beyond words. It is 𝙛𝙚𝙡𝙩, 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚. 🌿

Inspired by a simple truth from The Lorax, “𝑼𝒏𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝒂 𝒘𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝒂𝒘𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒍𝒐𝒕, 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒔 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓,” 🌳 the EcoSeminar: Caring for the Earth, Caring for Us brought together Ateneo Psych ICare, the Ateneo Art Company, Ateneo Peer Circle, BEACON Publications, Ateneo Center for Environment and Sustainability (ACES), and the AdZU College Guidance and Counseling Office, held at CDCH, Ateneo de Zamboanga University. 🤝

The program opened with 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡 𝐈𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 for A.Y 2026-2027, led by President Katrina Sabuero, where the incoming officers were formally introduced and welcomed through an oath-taking ceremony. A start to a school year centered on commitment and care, both for the environment and for one another.

Through insightful talks and creative activities 🎨, psych students reflected on how caring for the Earth is also caring for ourselves and one another, because someone must speak for the trees. 💚
