School of Medicine's Community Completion Ceremony held last September 23, 2023 at MPCC 1, Ateneo de Zamboanga University.

Three representatives from Barangay Lourmah, Mahayag were invited to celebrate with us. Our ever loving and sweet Barangay Nutrition Scholar, Ma'am Mercy Salangan, our very supportive Barangay Treasurer, Ma'am Gina Candole, and her better half and very generous husband, Sir Ricky Candole. These individuals were with us in every activity, project, program, and our small wins, every step of the way.
On this day, the Barangay Lourmah was awarded with the BEST COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH PROGRAM IN MALNUTRITION! 🎊
And we are just so delighted we got to celebrate it with most involved ones.

Congratulations Team Lourmah! All those mothers' classes, procurement of seedlings from DA Pagadian, late night printings and plannings, and so many more were worth it.

📍Accomplishment Report Presentation

On July 24, the team succesfully presented their accomplishments to the student body of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University - School of Medicine.

As we are getting back to the fast-paced life here in the city, let us look back to our last days in Mahayag as the residents of barangay Lourmah invited us for a get-together at the beach, held a prayer vigil, final visits, and bids farewell... For now.

Dakong pasasalamat namo sa pagwelcome nyo sa amoha and for giving us a home in Lourmah mga ma'am ug sir! 🤍
We miss you already and the peace that your place provides. 🍃

Know that Mahayag will truly forever be etched in our hearts.

📍Final Community Comprehensive Plan Report

Last July 15, 2023, the Ateneo de Zamboanga University School of Medicine in partnership with the Local Government Unit Mahayag held the Accomplishment Report at the Municipal Gymnasium, Poblacion, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur.

The medical students succesfully presented their accomplishments in the barangays they are assigned in ~ Lourmah, San Isidro, Lower Salug Daku, Boniao, Guripan, Diwan, and Sta. Cruz.

Representatives from their Barangay Councils were invited as they celebrated the students graduation in the community. ✅

Team Lourmah representatives, Doc Vince and Doc Aisha, proudly presented their masterpiece.

The program ended with heartfelt messages from the Mayor of Mahayag, Hon. Manuel Saladaga, and our super astig one of a kind Community Preceptor whom we are really going to miss, Dr. Jerald Ramos.
