The Training Induction Program was successfully conducted on August 15, 2026, highlighting the scholarship opportunities provided by TESDA through the efforts of Assistant Majority Floor Leader and Zamboanga District 1 Congresswoman Katrina “Kat” Reiko Chua-Tai Kat Chua, in partnership with AMARA International Institute of Technology, Inc.

This initiative provides aspiring scholars with access to Technical-Vocational Skills Education, equipping them with practical knowledge, industry-relevant skills, and opportunities that can help build a more sustainable and brighter future.

Through the collaboration of TESDA, Cong. Kat Chua, and AMARA International Institute of Technology, Inc., more individuals are given the opportunity to learn, develop their skills, and prepare for meaningful employment and livelihood opportunities.

Day 3 of the AIIT Palaro 2026 brought the excitement to an all-time high as our DHMT students battled for the championship titles in Basketball and Badminton.

The final matches showcased remarkable determination, teamwork, and resilience as every team and athlete gave their best until the final whistle. The energy, passion, and sportsmanship displayed throughout the day truly embodied the spirit of the Amara Palaro.

As we conclude this unforgettable celebration of sports and camaraderie, we look forward to tomorrow’s Awarding Ceremony, where we will recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our champions and participants.

The excitement continued on Day 2 of the AIIT Palaro 2026 as the DHMT students showcased their athletic skills, teamwork, and determination in various sporting events.

The day's competitions featured thrilling matches in Basketball, Volleyball, Chess, and the highly anticipated Mobile Legends Tournament, where students demonstrated not only their talent but also sportsmanship and unity.

Every game reflected the true spirit of the AIIT Palaro building camaraderie, discipline, and excellence both on and off the field.

One of the major highlights of Day 1 of the AIIT Palaro 2026 was the Folk Dance Competition, where the DHMT students proudly showcased their talent, teamwork, and appreciation of Filipino culture through captivating performances of different traditional folk dances.

Their graceful movements, colorful costumes, and energetic presentations reflected not only their creativity and dedication but also the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines.

The Amara International Institute of Technology (AIIT) successfully kicked off the first day of AIIT Palaro 2026 at the Joaquin Memorial Sports Complex, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in a celebration of sportsmanship, unity, and camaraderie.

The opening program was highlighted by an inspiring message from Mr. Omar Hawari, School President, together with, Ms. Mudzra Hawari the School Administrator, who emphasized the importance of sports in developing discipline, teamwork, leadership, and perseverance among students.

The excitement continued as DHMT students showcased their talents and competitive spirit through various activities, including the Yell Competition, Larong Lahi, and the Folk Dance Competition.

This is only the beginning let the games continue, and may every participant play with passion, respect, and excellence.

Our DHMT students successfully concluded their Final Practical Presentation, demonstrating the knowledge and practical skills they have developed throughout the course. Through hands-on food preparation, professional plating, and oral presentation, they showcased their understanding of proper kitchen procedures, food safety and sanitation, cooking techniques, teamwork, and creativity.

This culminating activity provided an opportunity for students to apply classroom learning in a practical setting while building confidence, discipline, and professionalism—essential qualities for future hospitality professionals.
