‎On December 12–13, 2025, Panganak Elementary School successfully conducted a Gender and Development (GAD) Seminar-Workshop with the theme: “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society.” This engaging event brought together educators and participants to deepen understanding, share experiences, and strengthen commitment to gender equality and inclusivity in our school and community.

‎A special thank you to Secondary School Principal Sheryll N. Surmieda, Ed. D for graciously providing the ICT room of Arena Blanco National High School as our venue. The seminar-workshop was enhanced by interactive discussions, meaningful activities, and collaborative exercises that allowed participants to reflect on gender perspectives, challenge stereotypes, and promote equal opportunities for all.

‎Participants also enjoyed sumptuous meals, creating a warm and welcoming environment for learning and networking. The 2-day event was not just a seminar but a step forward in building a more inclusive, respectful, and equitable school culture.

PANGANAK ES joins the nationwide celebration of DAPC Week 2025 with the theme “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Kalusugan ay Pinapahalagahan, Droga ay Inaayawan.”

School NDEP Coordinator, Abdulaziz T. Sandung discussed the importance of empowering learners with awareness, prevention, and strong community cooperation to protect every Filipino youth from the harms of illegal drugs. We continue to advocate for a healthier, safer, and drug-free future for all.

Earthquake Drill and Tsunami Drill
October 14, 2025

Due to the recent disaster events occurring in the Philippines, Panganak Elementary School, in coordination with the CAFGU and the community, conducted an Earthquake and Tsunami Drill to strengthen the preparedness of learners in case such disasters occur on the island.

The drill lasted 16 minutes and 49 seconds, covering a distance of 1.2 kilometers from the school to the designated evacuation site at the top of the island. The school aims to continue conducting regular drills to further improve response time and ensure the safety of everyone during emergencies.

We are pleased to report that there were no casualties, and all teachers and learners safely reached the evacuation area.

The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to the community and the CAFGU for their full support and active participation in this important activity, which greatly contributes to the learners’ safety and preparedness for future disasters.

School-Based Immunization 2025

A healthy child is a happy learner.
Our heartfelt thanks to the Honorable Vice Mayor Beng Climaco, the doctors and nurses from the Department of Health (City Health of Zamboanga), the Philippine Coast Guard, the Barangay Council of Manalipa, the Barangay Health Center, and the es**rt team (CAFGU) of Manalipa Island for their support in our School-Based Immunization Program. With your commitment and cooperation, our learners were given the protection they need. Truly, through strong partnerships, we create a brighter and healthier tomorrow for our community.

We sincerely thank the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay MANALIPA for their generous donation of school supplies. Your support will truly help our learners in their studies and inspire them to strive harder in their education. This act of kindness reflects your genuine concern for the youth and the community.

Your generosity will not only ease the needs of our students but also remind them that they are supported and valued.

Parent orientation of School-Based Immunization (SBI) Program on September 9, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the afternoon at Panganak ES headed by the School principal Mrs. Aminah Amillusin.

This event really showed how important it is to protect our students from diseases that vaccines can prevent.

The upcoming vaccination for children was discussed:

Grade 1: against Measles,Rubella,Tetanus and Diphtheria (MR-Td)

Grade 4: against Human Papillomavirus.

The aim of this program is to inform the parents about the importance of vaccination to protect our youth against infectious diseases.
