Heads up, JHS Falcons!
Saint Ignatius once challenged us to 'set the world on fire' with our love, and today, we have a practical way to do exactly that. The Arrupe Office of Community Service and Advocacy is officially launching Donate with Iggy, Year 3.
Starting tomorrow, May 5, and running through the end of the month until May 31, we are transforming our JHS Lobby into a center for sharing.
If you have used uniforms, textbooks, art materials, or even stuffed toys that are still in good condition, please bring them in.
Let’s turn our 'used' items into a gift for others and make this May a month of real impact.
Don't forget: May 5 to May 31 at the JHS Lobby. See you there, and let's Share the Love! "

To wrap up National Women’s Month, we celebrate every single woman who makes the JHS community a place of excellence, faith, and service. From our classrooms to our offices, your strength, resilience, and brilliance are what drive our mission forward every day. We thank all the men of our school for standing in solidarity and supporting the rise of their female peers. Together, we are building an empowered academe where everyone can reach their full potential.

Zero waste means zero tolerance for overproduction.
Companies can talk about a world without waste. They can launch campaigns and make promises on "sustainability."
But as long as plastic production keeps growing, waste will keep showing up—just in different places, in different forms, in our bodies, our food, and our communities.
Zero waste won’t work if plastic overproduction doesn’t stop. This , let's urge corporations to stop producing single-use plastic and switch to real sustainable solutions like reuse and refill.

A Heart for Service | "In our advocacy work, I find deep meaning in showing that strength is found in service and that a compassionate leader can move mountains through collective action."
Concluding our National Women’s Month afternoon series, we feature our very own from the Arrupe Office of Community Service and Advocacy Coordinator, Ms. Pauline Marie Fernando. We asked her: "What is the most rewarding part of being a woman in leadership today?"
For Ma'am Pau, leadership isn't just about management; it's about movement. By fostering a spirit of "being men and women for and with others," she reminds us that women in leadership have a unique power to bridge gaps, amplify voices, and lead the way toward social justice.

The women of the Office of the Prefect of Discipline lead our students with a powerful balance of firm guidance and nurturing care. In the academe, these female leaders prove that true discipline is an act of love, shaping the character and integrity of our future "men and women for others." Alongside their supportive male colleagues, they build strong bridges between the school and our homes, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all.
We celebrate their strength in fostering a culture of responsibility and mutual respect. Thank you for being the guardians of our JHS values!
