IN PHOTOS | ICAS DE AYALA joined the nation in celebrating the 128th Philippine Independence Day on June 12, 2026.
With pride, honor, and deep patriotism, learners and teachers actively participated in meaningful activities that reflected their love for the country and commitment to its ideals.
While singing “Ang Bayan Ko,” learners and teachers proudly waved their Philippine flags. This act symbolized unity, patriotism, and gratitude for the sacrifices of the Filipino heroes who fought for the nation's freedom. The waving of the flags served as a powerful expression of love for the country and a reminder that every Filipino shares the responsibility of preserving the nation's independence and sovereignty.
During the singing of “Pilipinas Kong Mahal,” teachers formed a straight line near the flagpole while learners entrusted their flags to their advisers. This activity symbolized the passing on of patriotic values, national pride, and civic responsibility from one generation to the next. The act of entrusting the flags to the teachers represented the learners' confidence in their mentors as guides who nurture love of country, discipline, and responsible citizenship.
Afterwards, the teachers formed a large circle in the open field while everyone sang the ICAS DE AYALA Hymn. The circle symbolized unity, equality, solidarity, and the strong bond among members of the school community. Singing the school hymn together reflected their shared vision, collective commitment, and dedication to the values and mission of ICAS DE AYALA, emphasizing that everyone plays an important role in building a stronger and more united institution.
Together "We Enrich Minds and Nurture Faith"

First Day of Classes for Academic Year 2026–2027
June 08, 2026
Today marks the beginning of another exciting school year as we officially opened classes for Academic Year 2026–2027.
We warmly welcomed all our learners, especially our new students and transferees, by giving them a warm welcome and making them feel at home in our school community. We are delighted to have them join us and look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and meaningful experiences.
Our first day of classes was truly memorable. Earlier this day, we experienced an earthquake that reminded us of the importance of preparedness and staying calm during emergencies. In response, we offered a prayer for everyone's safety and remained calm while following the necessary safety protocols.
After ensuring the safety and accounting for the attendance of all our learners, we coordinated with parents and guardians and allowed the students to go home safely under their care.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our teachers, parents, guardians, and learners for their cooperation, understanding, and composure throughout the situation. Let us continue this school year with faith, resilience, and a shared commitment to learning.
Welcome to Academic Year 2026–2027! Together, we will make this year meaningful, safe, and successful.

ORATIO IMPERATA
PRAYER IN THE WAKE OF THE EARTHQUAKE
Almighty Father, we raise our hearts to You in gratitude for the wonders of creation,
for Your providence that sustains us in our needs, and for Your wisdom that guides the course of the universe.
We acknowledge our sins against You and the rest of creation. We have not been good stewards of Your gifts. We turn to You, our loving Father, and beg forgiveness for our sins.
Look with mercy upon Your people, O Lord, as we tremble in fear from the shaking of the earth.
Protect us from harm and shield us from the dangers of collapsing homes, falling debris, and all destruction caused by earthquakes.
We especially lift to You the poor, the vulnerable, and the defenseless, those who have no strong shelter, those whose homes are weak and fragile, and those who cannot recover easily from disaster. Be their refuge, O God, their comfort and their strength.
Calm our hearts when fear surrounds us.
Steady the ground beneath us and keep us safe. Heal the injured, console the grieving, and grant eternal rest to those who have perished.
We ask this through Your Son Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
AMEN.
