The College of Teacher Education proudly participated in the Gender and Development Office Purple Office Decorating Contest showcasing creativity, collaboration, and our shared commitment to gender equality.

This achievement would not be possible without the unwavering support of our Dean, Dr. Roberto S. Eyo II, the guidance of our dedicated faculty Teachers, headed by Prof. Alnashra Jaani, and the collective effort of all CTE students who generously shared their time, talents, and passion.

Together, we continue to paint our spaces with purpose and empower voices that inspire change.

" Mes de Las Mujeres "

For years, many women have been perceived as delicate beings and overly emotional. While the world is changing, millions of women continue to experience acts of belittlement or devaluation, manipulation, and discrimination. Thus, the question arises, "Who would we be without women?"

Without women, there would be no existence, stories, or voices that have created the bedrock on which the world stands. Women have demonstrated through the arts that they have powerful voices and influences in shaping the culture, people, and imagination of the world.

Through their literature—poetry, novels, essays, and short fiction—women authors use their lived experiences to challenge oppressive systems, to maintain their heritage, and to encourage others to create social change. They provide an opportunity for their readers to hear the words of silenced voices and to view the world through the perspectives of those long forgotten.

In the long history of women's literature, women have consistently utilized the written word as a means of resisting oppression and as a tool for empowerment. By writing, they challenge and confront injustice and reclaim their power; thus, they will not go unnoticed. Women's literature includes the untold stories of women, creates diverse opportunities to portray the experiences of women, and challenges the understanding of the world as a whole.

Women's literature is a revolution expressed in the written word, written in ink but possessing great power.

We are proud to announce that our students successfully represented our institution in the 3rd National Teacher Education Quiz Bee, with the theme “ASEAN to the World,” held on February 26, 2026, at CBRC Zamboanga Branch. Competing against 18 participants from different schools, they showed excellence, confidence, and strong knowledge throughout the competition.
