AKAY KABUHAYAN - LABOR DAY CELEBRATION

For this year’s Labor Day, the AdZU Senior High School extended its support to the local farmers of Brgy. Cawit, the partners of our Akay Kabuhayan program. Each farmer received a tumbler to help them stay hydrated and cope with the intense heat as they tend to their crops.

We would like to thank our ABM students, whose Service-Learning Project last school year provided vital data on the struggles faced by our local farmers. We also extend our gratitude to the School Administration and the Prefect of Discipline for turning over supplies to the Arrupe Office from the unclaimed lost-and-found inventory.

Maligayang Araw ng mga Manggagawa!

The Revolution Continues: Living Out the Spirit of EDSA by Advocating Collective Stewardship

Forty years ago, the spirit of EDSA showed us that collective courage can change the course of history. Today, that same spirit calls us to a different kind of revolutionβ€”one that defends our Common Home.

Over the past two days, we’ve seen our Grade 12 students engage in deep, honest conversations during our Heart-Eco Pulse Check homeroom sessions. πŸ¦… We’ve looked at our "Wins" and our "Friction Points," discerning how we can move to Collective Stewards.

πŸ’» FOR CLASSES AFFECTED BY THE FEB 25-26 HOLIDAYS:
Since we won’t be able to meet onsite, your "Pulse Check" will move online! This is your space to reflect on your EcoDiary journey and the EDSA legacy.

Access the activity here:

Let’s continue to prove that "People Power" is also "Planet Power"β€”rooted in faith, motivated by compassion, and expressed through our daily habits.

EcoSummit 2026: Growing a Community and Culture of Ecological Conversion

For three days (February 17–19), ecology point persons from the Basic Education units, Higher Education units, and various institutional offices of Jesuit schools across the country gathered once more for a focused and fruitful EcoSummit at Ateneo de Naga University.

The gathering centered on deepening our ecological formation, reviewing developments from previous EcoSummits, and discerning concrete, mission-aligned next steps for our schools. Most significantly, the group collaboratively drafted a set of guidelines that hopefully will be accepted as a standard minimum ecological framework for all Jesuit Education institutions. This hopes to be decisive move toward greater coherence and accountability in our shared ecological mission.

Alongside the workshops and plenary sessions, participants engaged in cultural and contextual immersion through visits to Savage Mind bookshop and gallery, a courtesy call with Hon. Mayor Leni Robredo, and a visit to Malabsay Falls at the foot of Mount Isarog Natural Park.

We thank all the delegates for their generosity, dedication, and collaborative spirit. The work accomplished during these three days strengthens our collective resolve to form ecologically conscious schools in the spirit of Laudato Si’.
