Every Computer Engineer begins with a single decision, to pursue a future built on curiosity, discipline, and the courage to solve problems that have yet to be imagined.

Today, the Department of Computer Engineering proudly welcomes its newly qualified students to the Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering program at Western Mindanao State University. Your admission is more than a place in a degree program, it is an invitation to become part of a community that believes innovation begins with those willing to learn.

The years ahead will challenge you to think beyond what already exists, transform ideas into solutions, and discover that the best engineers are not only defined by what they build, but by the purpose behind what they create. Here, every lesson learned, every project completed, and every challenge overcome becomes part of the engineer you are becoming.

Congratulations on earning your place in the Department of Computer Engineering. We are honored to welcome you into a community where excellence is pursued, ideas are valued, and growth is shared. The future of engineering is never built by one generation alone, it is carried forward by those who choose to begin.

Today, we honor the courage of our heroes, the resilience of every Filipino, and the enduring spirit of a nation that continues to rise through every challenge.

Freedom is more than a victory of the past, it is a responsibility we carry today. Through our actions, integrity, and love for our country, we continue the legacy of those who fought for the liberty we now enjoy.

Sa bawat Pilipinong lumalaban nang may dangal, nagsisikap nang may layunin, at nangangarap para sa mas magandang bukas, ang araw na ito ay para sa inyo.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering is not just a program, it is the foundation of everything that runs the modern world. Every system that thinks, every device that reacts, every machine that learns starts with someone who understands both hardware and software and knows how to make them work as one.

This is where curiosity becomes control. Where ideas become instructions. Where imagination becomes something you can compile, test, and deploy into reality.

If you have ever wondered how computers think, how robots move, how apps connect, or how systems communicate, this is where those questions turn into answers you can actually build.
