The youth is the hope of our nation. โจ
Today, we commemorate the Filipino Youth Dayโa day that honors the enduring legacy of Dr. Jose Rizal under the Proclamation No. 75 signed on June 19, 1948 by former President Elpidio Quirino.
Beyond remembrance, this day highlights the living power of the youth in shaping the society. Through their leadership, ideas, and participation, they cultivate actions toward meaningful change in nation-building.
They are not just a youthโbut the Filipino Youth who is empowered, committed, and passionate, whose voice speaks with passion and service.
Kabataan ka, hindi kabataan lang. Happy Filipino Youth Day! ๐ต๐ญ

โ
โToday, we celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. Josรฉ P. Rizal, a man whose life and ideals continue to shape the Filipino spirit.
โ
โRizal showed us that genuine patriotism begins with knowledge, critical thinking, and the courage to stand for what is right. Through his writings and unwavering love for the country, he awakened a nation's consciousness and reminded us that meaningful change starts with informed and responsible citizens.
โ
โAs Political Science students, may we continue to learn from his example by leading with integrity, speaking with purpose, and serving with compassion. His legacy reminds us that every generation has a role to play in building a better Philippines.
โ
โMay his life continue to inspire us to become citizens who not only dream of change, but also work for it.

Every June 12, we look back on the sacrifices that secured our nationโs freedom. But beyond remembrance lies an important question: What do we do with the freedom that was won for us?
Freedom is not sustained by history alone. It requires citizens who participate, institutions that uphold justice, and leaders who remain accountable to the people. A democratic society thrives when individuals are empowered to engage in public life and when governance is guided by the public interest.
The task of nation-building did not end when independence was declared. It continues in every effort to protect human rights, strengthen democratic institutions, combat corruption, and ensure that no Filipino is left behind.
As we honor our heroes today, may we also embrace our responsibility as citizens, to help build a Philippines that is more just, inclusive, and democratic for generations to come.
Mabuhay ang Pilipinas, at mabuhay ang sambayanang Pilipino. ๐ต๐ญ
