A debate isn't won by the loudest voiceโ€”it's won by the strongest mind.

The Debaters Guild is once again opening its doors to students who are ready to think beyond the surface, challenge perspectives, and speak with confidence. Debate is more than simply expressing opinionsโ€”it's about listening with an open mind, constructing meaningful arguments, defending your ideas with reason, and inspiring others through the power of your words.

If you have the passion to question, the courage to stand for what you believe in, and the willingness to grow as a communicator and critical thinker, then this is where your journey begins.

โš–๏ธ Only ten (10) aspiring members will be accepted into this year's Debaters Guild. Every applicant will have the opportunity to demonstrate not only their speaking ability, but also their reasoning, confidence, and potential to grow as a debater.

This is more than a screeningโ€”it's the first step toward becoming a voice that informs, persuades, and inspires.

This National Women's Month, we celebrate and honor these outstanding icons in the industry of Womenhood.

Through the years, these iconic Filipinas have proven that leadership and excellence belong on every stage, from the courtrooms, the halls of governance, the Miss Universe stage, and into the Global spotlight.

By leading with both heart and intellect, they have showcased that a women's strength is a cornerstone of national progress. We celebrate their legacy not as global figures, but as the beacons of inspiration for the next generation of girls, who are ready to lead, and are ready to be WOMEN.

The Claret Debaters Guild held a seminar on the Foundations of Competitive Debate last November 8, 2025, at the Akay Sofia Hall.

The guest speaker, Mr. Roseller G. Ibaรฑez, discussed the various technicalities, terminologies, and mechanics involved in competitive debating.

The seminar concluded with a mock debate, showcasing the participant's application of the concepts discussed. The Closing Opposition team, composed of Luiza Cartegena and Mikeila Apostol, emerged as the winners.
