Pilar College of Zamboanga City, Inc. successfully concluded its PAASCU Formal Visit held on September 14โ€“15, 2026, for the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs.

The Formal Visit provided an opportunity for the College to engage with the PAASCU Survey Teams through interviews, document review, discussions, and other accreditation activities. Administrators, faculty, personnel, students, and other members of the Pilar College community actively participated and contributed to the smooth conduct of the visit.

The experience also provided valuable opportunities for reflection and learning, reinforcing the College's commitment to continuously strengthen its programs and services for its students and the wider community.

During the closing program, the school president expressed the College's gratitude for the meaningful engagement and valuable insights shared throughout the visit. She likewise acknowledged the collective efforts of the entire Pilar College community in the successful conduct of the Formal Visit.

As Pilar College moves forward, it remains steadfast in providing quality, transformative, and values-centered education, forming graduates who are prepared to serve, lead, and make a meaningful difference in society.

In solemn remembrance and grateful hearts, we celebrated the Holy Eucharist today in honor of the Death Anniversary of Venerable Mother Ignacia del Espรญritu Santo โ€” a woman of deep faith, humility, and unwavering devotion to God.

Led by Rev. Fr. Larry Miranda, we were reminded of Mother Ignacia's legacy of prayer, service, and surrender to the will of the Father. Her life continues to inspire us to live with compassion, simplicity, and courage in our faith.

May her spirit continue to guide us in our mission as a community of faith.
