“AUTISM has no CURE”, words that you will hear from experts.
As an AUSOME Parent, you will really feel depression and anxiety if you hear those words. You will have a lot of worries, like:
❓What will be the future of my child?
❓Will he be dependent on me forever?
❓What if I expire from this world earlier?
❓will someone understand him?
❓will someone show him real care?
❓will he be accepted by the society?
These are only some of the questions that we could not answer outrightly.🥹
But, how about these words, “PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE”, does it signify that EARLY INTERVENTION works?
📌I have a son who also struggled BEFORE because of ASD and ADHD.
All signs were present on him, and as a first timer parent, I was first denying the facts seen on him. Not until he started to go to school and my attention was called by the teacher.
It was the time that me and my better-half were already desperate to let our son undergo different therapies because our son is already 5 y.o.
My better-half cried almost every night because we encountered children with developmental delays in different Therapy Centers that are seen not to have improved at least 50% even if they were already 3 years in the center.
Worst case was, we’ve seen a teen who has been 14 years in the Therapy Center and regression is very visible on him.
📣But, here’s the GOOD NEWS. Because of immuno therapy, our son overcame 70% of his struggles and NOW:
✅With GOOD EYE CONTACT
✅NO LONGER HYPER
✅CAN STAY LONGER IN THE CLASSROOM
✅TWO-WAY CONVERSATIONAL ALREADY
