The Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan was crafted by the Pilar College of Zamboanga City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committee based on the DRRM Four Thematic Areas. Vision:
"Pilar College envisions a disaster - resilient community, prepared and ready to manage disasters and reduce their negative impact to life". Mission:
As an Ignacian - Marian community, we commit ourselves to provide a safe, comfortable, disaster - resilient environment for ourselves and our constituents. Ensure a safe environment for all individuals in the community particularly the students;
3. Respond to the needs of the school and nearby community efficiently during any type of emergency or disaster;
4. Apply effectively the protocols set by the Disaster Management Committee;
5. Establish linkages with the local government units as support system;
6. Maintain the core values of faith, excellence and service in any situation.

PUBLIC ADVISORY| In light of the inclement weather being experienced in some parts of Zamboanga City, Acting Mayor Beng Climaco orders the suspension of classes in all levels - public and private schools, today, July 17, 2025.

Nonetheless, school administrators are advised to take precautions in sending their students home, to ensure their safety.
