We often talk about how important it is to foster curiosity and a love of learning. When teaching reading, it may be helpful to find your child's interest and let them take an active part in choosing what to read. Find ways to get them more interested in reading. Consider having a family reading time, where you can either take turns reading out a chapter from one book or maybe sit around together reading different materials but doing it all at the same time. Reading to young children is proven to improve cognitive skills and help along the process of cognitive development. If there are books that have a movie made about them, consider watching that together. Find opportunities to discuss about what you learn that encourages them to share freely, without the pressure of being graded or judged. Learn things together and just enjoy the process.

Sa kanyang mensahe, binigyang-diin ni VP-Sec. Duterte na pinirmahan na ang First-Time Job Seekers Assistance Act Joint Operational Guidelines kasama ang Department of Labor and Employment.

Aniya, mahalagang hakbang ang Operational Guidelines sa pagpapatupad ng RA 11261 o ang First-Time Job Seekers Assistance Act sapagkat mas maraming first-time job seekers, lalo na ang K to 12 graduates, ang mabibigyan ng oportunidad sa agaran at libreng pagproseso ng pre-employment requirements.

Bukod pa rito, binanggit din ni VP-Sec. Duterte na titiyakin ng Kagawaran ang kahandaan ng Grade 12 graduates sa employment at inaasahan pa ng kalihim ang suporta ng business sector sa pagbibigay ng trabaho sa mga nakapagtapos ng Grade 12 sa kani-kanilang mga industriyang kinabibilangan.
