The Universidad de Zamboanga - Technical High School (UZ-THS) successfully secured its PEAC recertification on June 17, 2026, achieving the highest Rating of Four (4) during the certification process.

Following the PEAC Certification Visit conducted on February 13, 2026, UZ-THS was awarded a Rating of Four (4), the highest possible rating under the PEAC evaluation system. This distinction signifies that the institution has demonstrated full compliance with Department of Education (DepEd) standards across all critical areas of school operations and educational delivery, affirming the institution's commitment to quality education.

The Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) is a private sector body that works in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd). It is responsible for implementing educational assistance programs and conducting quality assurance certification to verify the compliance of private junior and senior high schools with DepEd standards.

This achievement reflects UZ-THS' unwavering commitment to educational excellence and continuous quality improvement. The recertification affirms the institution's capacity to deliver high-quality learning experiences and maintain the standards of a leading secondary educational institution.
