𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬 𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦

The WMSU College of Architecture radiated creativity and purpose as they celebrated World Architecture Day last October 15, 2025, at the WMSU Covered Court, where creative concepts stood strong under the theme “Design for Strength.” 🏛️✨

Throughout the CArch Grounds, creativity and craftsmanship met through the Chalk Art Competition 🖍️, where teamworks and imagination turned the pavement into a vibrant canvas of ideas. Meanwhile, the Charcoal Rendering ✏️, Watercolor Painting 🎨, and Digital Art 💻 categories showcased the individual talent of students— each art work reflecting a unique interpretation of their talent and artistic excellence 🖼️.

This November 25 to December 12, 2024, we will be having our advocacy of eradicating Violence Against Women. With the campaign theme “𝐔𝐍𝐢𝐓𝐄𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐀𝐖-𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬” and its 2024 sub-theme “𝐕𝐀𝐖 𝐁𝐢𝐠𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐬, 𝐍𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧 𝐧𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐬!” . We are ready to empower women against any form of violence they are facing.

We will support the 𝟏𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 in our university by participating in different seminars and activities prepared by WMSU GENDER ASSOCIATION INC.

Let us be the advocates of gender equality by starting to advocate for the end of VAW in the Philippines.

Pursuant to Republic Act 9262, the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004, we launch the 18-day campaign to raise awareness and advocate for the protection of women and children from all forms of violence. Join us in promoting a culture of respect, safety, and equality, contributing to a VAW-free Philippines.
