The Rotaract Club of Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology, with our sponsor club, the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City is proud to have served for the District 3850 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀: 𝗔 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆–𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲-𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻, held on July 04. 2026 at KCC De Zamboanga Convention Center.

Through joint efforts in mobilization, donor coordination, and ground logistics alongside our fellow Rotaractors, Rotarians, and Red Cross partners, 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 761 𝗯𝗮𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱!

The 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology celebrates a meaningful milestone during the 79th Joint Turnover & Induction Ceremonies of the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City and Rotary Anns Club of Zamboanga City, held on July 17, 2026, at the Glasshouse, Astoria Regency, Pasonanca, Zamboanga City.

In this memorable gathering, Charter President Mc Ken Juaini was formally inducted and took his oath of office as the President of the Rotaract Club of ZSCMST, together with the newly inducted Executive Board and Committee Heads, marking the beginning of another chapter of leadership and service.

Rotaract Club Moderator Dr. Roderick D. Trio, Director of Administrative Services, delivered the message of College President Dr. Roy Lim Valesco on his behalf.

In his message, Dr. Valesco emphasized the enduring partnership between ZSCMST and the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City a collaboration that continues to drive meaningful and impactful community projects that serve humanity, while empowering and shaping ZSCMST Rotaractors to become the leaders of tomorrow.

As we begin another year of service, we remain anchored in the values of Leadership, Fellowship, and Service Above Self. Together, we look forward to creating greater impact, strengthening partnerships, and inspiring more young leaders to serve their communities.

On July 25, 2026, the Rotaract Club of Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology Attended both Kape Siesta and the President and Secretary Learning Seminar (PSLS 2026) in Zamboanga City.

We began our day grounded in fellowship alongside our District Rotaract Representative, Julius A. Lorca Jr. Through a Vibrant Club Health Check, we reflected on our shared journey, exchanged best practices, and strengthened the bonds that unite our district.

In the afternoon, our officers locked in for the President and Secretary Learning Seminar. Soaking in the wisdom and guidance of experienced Rotary and Rotaract mentors, we gathered practical tools and strategies to lead with clarity and heart.

We leave these sessions not with big titles, but with quiet confidence and renewed purpose. RAC ZSCMST is ready to step forward, continuously learn, and create lasting impact for our campus and community.

A mother’s love has the power to heal, inspire, and save lives.

On May 10, the Rotaract Club of ZSCMST was honored to be part of a memorable evening dedicated to honoring all mothers and supporting a noble cause. Presented by our Mother Club, the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City, together with the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City North, and in partnership with the Rotaract Club of Zamboanga City North, we gathered at Hall 2, Astoria Regency for the Mother’s Day Gala Dinner for a Cause!

It was a night filled with warmth, smiles, and heartfelt celebration. From special activity booths for the kids to a lovely gathering for families, every moment reflected the strength and beauty of community. Most importantly, our shared steps that night directly contributed to the global fight to End Polio Now proving that when we come together, we create real impact for the future of every child.

To everyone who joined, supported, and shared their evening with us: Muchisimas Gracias! Your generosity made this celebration truly meaningful. 💫

The Rotaract Club of ZSCMST, and the ZSCMST Supreme Student Council (SSC) and dynamic campus organizations, successfully co-hosted 'GABAY 2026: Leadership and Capacity Building Seminar' at Octagon Hall!

Over three transformative days, hundreds of student leaders, year-level representatives, and organization officers convened at Octagon Hall to reinforce the foundations of youth governance. The seminar opened on Day 1 with a rigorous deep dive into the principles of good governance, policy formulation, and organizational structure.

Day 2 delivered hands-on mastery in standardized secretariat documentation, strategic public communications, and transparent fiscal stewardship guided by the Budget Office, alongside essential training on anti-hazing compliance and road safety.

Culminating on Day 3, delegates engaged in immersive hands-on training and a vital revisit and refinement of the Constitution and By-Laws (CBL) institutionalizing not only technical efficiency and legal alignment, but an unyielding culture of safety, integrity, and principled leadership across the ZSCMST campus.
