Be Part of the SGCM Big Day Kids Church Volunteer Team!

This coming August 31, 2026, we are inviting all SGCM church members to partner with us in serving the children during our SGCM Big Day. Help us create a safe, joyful, and meaningful experience for every child in our Kids Church.

Whether you can assist in welcoming children, guiding activities, ensuring safety, or simply showing the love of Jesus through your presence, your help will make a big difference.

To make volunteering manageable for everyone, each volunteer will be assigned a 1-hour schedule only. This allows more members to participate while still enjoying the Big Day celebration with their families and church family. 🙌

You don't need to be a teacher—just have a willing heart to serve!

Kids Church Big Day Guidelines

To ensure the safety, security, and enjoyment of all children during Big Day, please take note of the following guidelines:
1. Children will be grouped according to age:
- Group A: 3–5 years old
- Group B: 6–12 years old
Children below 3 years old must remain with their parents or guardians throughout the event. Children 13 years old and above are encouraged to join the adult program.
2. Fun and engaging activities have been prepared for all children throughout the event to make their Big Day experience enjoyable and meaningful.
3. Volunteer supervision
- Each group will be assigned 10 volunteers to ensure the safety and proper care of the children.
- Volunteers will serve on a one-hour shifting schedule to maintain attentive supervision throughout the event.
4. Advance registration
- Parents are encouraged to register their children in advance.
- During registration, please indicate whether your child will be accompanied by a yaya/caregiver or none.
5. Name tags
- Every child will receive a name tag upon registration.
- The name tag will include the parent's or guardian's contact number for easy communication in case of an emergency.
6. Kids Zone Schedule
- Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 12:00 NN
- Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
7. Parent Volunteers Needed
- We warmly encourage parents who are willing to serve to volunteer in the Kids Church during Big Day. Your assistance will help us provide a safe, organized, and enjoyable environment for all the children.

Thank you for leading our Kids Service Team with a heart that reflects Christ. Your passion for serving, commitment to raising the next generation, and willingness to pour into both kids and leaders have been a blessing to so many.

Your life reminds us that every seed planted in a child's heart can grow into a lifetime of faith. Thank you for being a faithful shepherd, a servant leader, and an inspiration to all of us.

A little late, but with hearts full of gratitude—Happy Father's Day to all our amazing dads! 💙

Our kids shared their love through letters, a special song by Sofia, and joyful dance presentations. Thank you to all the fathers who love, lead, and support their families. Happy Father's Day! ✨
