The Masiricampo Abantas Memorial National High School has been honor or commemoration of late Schools District Supervisor, Masiricampo Mangotin “Maning” H. He had been serving the people of Wao for many years on the Sixties, Seventies, Eighties and Nineties. Aside from being first full pledge Public School District Supervisor. He had establish school in the different barangays for the sake of the
young children who were going to the town proper just to earn basic education. So in memorial to his dedication to the service, this school is named after him. The Abantas Family has the desire to continue the noble work of their father fortunately, the daughter, Ms. The present Schools District Supervisor of Wao I District, who worked hard to opened the said National High School with help of the local government, barangay officials and the P.T.C.A officials, who made a resolution & recommendation to support the opening of the Masiricampo Abantas Memorial National High School As one of the requirement. After completing all the requirement, The Dep-Ed ARMM Directors of the Bureau of Secondary Education Prof. Publicly announce the approval of the opening of Masiricampo Abantas Memorial National High School on July 19, 2004 on this very memorable day.
