As Bethany Baptist Academy introduces the A.C.E. School of Tomorrow® system to our community, we would like to share how our Honor A and Honor B recognition works.
One of the unique things about the A.C.E. Curriculum is that students learn at their own pace and level. Because of this, recognition is not simply about who finishes first or who completes the most PACEs.
📚 It is based on PACE Test performance.
After a student works through a PACE, completes the required learning activities, Checkups, and Self Test, the student takes the PACE Test. This test measures how well the student has mastered the material.
For academic recognition, what matters is mastery, reflected in their PACE Test performance:
🏆 HONOR A
PACE Test Average: 94%–100%
🏆 HONOR B
PACE Test Average: 88%–93%
This means Honor recognition is not about being the fastest student in the Learning Center. It is about how well the student has mastered the lessons completed. This means a student can be recognized for consistent mastery and diligence in learning, even when students are working at different levels and progressing at different rates.
At Bethany Baptist Academy, we want our students to understand that learning is not a race against one another.
Every child has a different learning journey. What we celebrate is their diligence, mastery, and progress in the work entrusted to them.
At Bethany Baptist Academy, we believe that education is not a race. Because in A.C.E., learning is personal, but excellence is still worth celebrating. 💛
At BBA, we celebrate not just achievement, but also diligence, perseverance, and growth.
One child at a time.
One step at a time.
All for God’s glory.🙏🏻☝🏼
