The College of Agriculture and Fisheries will officially hold its 2026 General Orientation and Student Excellence Recognition for all students enrolled in the BS Agriculture, BS Fisheries, BS Agribusiness, and BS Food Technology programs.

This assembly is an institutional activity designed to brief the student body on essential college policies, academic standards, curriculum requirements, and the institutional calendar of activities for the term. Alongside the orientation, the college will also proudly honor and recognize our outstanding students for their excellence and leadership.

The NSTP Registration for Academic Year 2026–2027 is now open for students who intend to take Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) or Literacy Training Service (LTS).

𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐏𝐅𝐓, and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐟𝐨 𝐏. 𝐑𝐢𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐳 of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Regional Office V, conducted an official inspection and monitoring visit to the Catanduanes State University–College of Agriculture and Fisheries (CatSU-CAF) and the CatSU Panganiban Campus.

The monitoring activity formed part of the PRC's regulatory mandate to ensure that institutions offering Food Technology programs adhere to the standards governing the practice of the profession.

CatSU-CAF officially launched its 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 in 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, with 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐌𝐚. 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐃. 𝐑. 𝐓𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐲 serving as its first 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧. The program represents the University's continuing commitment to expanding its academic offerings in response to the growing demand for competent and professionally licensed food technologists.

Under the leadership of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐌. 𝐋𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐳, Dean of the College of Agriculture and Fisheries, the College reaffirmed its commitment to addressing the recommendations of the PRBFT monitoring team and continuously enhancing its academic programs, facilities, and institutional practices. Through sustained compliance with national quality standards and regulatory requirements, CatSU-CAF remains steadfast in its mission of delivering quality education and producing globally competitive graduates in the field of Food Technology.
