CHAMPIONS ON THE NATIONAL STAGE! 🏆🌾

We extend our warmest congratulations to Team VPHS for emerging as Champions at the UPD Saribuhay Sibol Youth Science Communication Challenge!

Organized by Saribuhay UPD as part of their PUNLA: Earth Month Campaign for 2026, the contest aims to bridge the gap between complex science and the public by challenging the youth to make intricate environmental and technical concepts simpler to understand through short, engaging videos.

Their winning entry shed light on grid inertia—the invisible mechanical backbone that keeps our electrical systems stable. As the Philippines aggressively transitions toward renewable energy sources like solar and wind, the video elegantly demystified how losing traditional rotational inertia threatens grid stability. By breaking down the physics of power systems, the team highlighted how securing a green, sustainable future requires balancing both clean energy innovation and engineering resilience to protect local communities from massive power disruptions.

Facing off against the brightest young innovators and student-communicators from across the country, our delegation delivered.

Vinzons Pilot High School invites all incoming and continuing Senior High School learners to participate in the Brigada Eskwela 2026, which will be conducted from June 1–5, 2026.

We also encourage all SHS learners and parents/guardians to attend the Senior High School Orientation on June 2, 2026, to receive important information and updates for the opening of classes.

📌 Please be informed that the official list of sections is already posted in each assigned classroom and on the bulletin board near the school gate. Learners are advised to check their section assignments prior to the orientation.
