DECEMBER 22, 2025 | The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay 34 Isic-Isic successfully implemented ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ก, ๐ฅ๐๐ฆ๐ & ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ช: ๐๐ฆ๐๐-๐๐ฆ๐๐, an initiative aimed at supporting deserving learners by providing financial assistance to help them continue and pursue their academic goals.
The program reflects the communityโs strong commitment to empowering the youth and investing in their future through education. It was implemented under the leadership of Hon. Lawrence Guillermo, RCrim., highlighting the SKโs dedication to impactful and sustainable youth-centered programs.
More than 60 students benefited from the initiative, receiving support to help ease their educational expenses.
The program implementation was witnessed by officials from the Office of the Pambayang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan of Vintar, headed by the Municipal PPSK President, Hon. Vincent Kyle Dalere. Alongside Hon. Dalere were the staff of the Siwawer Youth CenterโMr. Jaymar Albano, PPSK Executive Secretary; Mr. Dhave Baay and Ms. Louella Viernes, PPSK Staff.
In his message, Hon. Dalere emphasized that LEARN, RISE & GROW: ISIC-ISIC is the first educational assistance program of this batch of SKs, recognizing SK Isic-Isic as the first implementer of such an initiative.

Meanwhile, Mr. Albano shared that several SK Councils in the municipality are now benchmarking the program and are considering its adoption in their respective barangays in the upcoming calendar year.

Hon. Guillermo also shared that while the SK Council initially allotted a modest amount for the program, the success of its pioneering implementation has encouraged the council to commit to allocating more funds in the upcoming calendar years to expand the reach and impact of the initiative.

Aside from cash assistance, school supply sets were also given to the beneficiaries to further support their educational needs.

Hon. Guillermo also encouraged the KKs of Brgy. Isic-Isic to continue supporting the projects, programs, and activities of SK Isic-Isic, for they are the primary beneficiaries of these initiatives. He expressed his hope that their active participation and cooperation would help ensure the success and sustainability of these programs, ultimately contributing to the growth and development of the community.
Moreover, during a conversation between Mr. Baay PPSK Staff and Mr. Domingo, the parent of one of the beneficiaries, Mr. Domingo expressed his sincere gratitude to the SK Council for initiating such a meaningful program for the youth of Isic-Isic.
